One of the reasons why I chose Popay for Raka, because of the Montessori method. I learned about Montessori methodology long before Raka’s school age and fell in love with it. I understand that Montessori will never force a child to do something he/she doesn’t want to.
Raka is 6.5 years old now and finally graduates from his kindergarten years.s He grew up to be a very happy child. He loves going to school every day. Popay has made him love to study and enjoy school days. Raka is now very independent, polite and has a very good manner. I’m the type of mom who prioritises character-building before academic. That’s why I never force Raka to learn how to read or do math, etc. But Popay made him love to learn all things academic. He can read and count all by his own effort because he’s interested in learning, not by any obligation.
One of the things I really appreciate from Popay Montessori is how the teachers and staffs always put the child’s needs before everything and the teachers really know the child’s development. Well, at least that’s what I got from Raka’s 3 teachers… Miss Rini, Miss Debbie and Miss Yen Cin. My highest praise and gratitude for them because they’re Raka’s mom too =)
In this rapid-developed IT era, Popay managed to catch up by using emails to reach the parents for any information. This is very helpful and I hope this kind of system will always be included for future reference, even better.
Thank you, Popay Montessori, for shaping Raka’s character into a very good and positively mannered boy. He’s sensitive kid and Popay managed to see that. These 3 years has been delightful for me as a parent to find a school so close from home and almost everything I ever wanted for Raka. I will definitely recommend Popay for my friends, and I hope Raka’s little sister will join Popay family next years.
